Terms of Service

The service

Signal Loom helps Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) sellers, and the virtual assistants and agencies who support them, understand store data and decide what to try next. It is not affiliated with TPT. Signal Loom provides guidance, not guarantees about sales, search placement, or commercial outcomes.

Your account and data

  • You must be at least 18 years old and keep your account credentials secure.
  • You may upload only data, and use only public product pages, that you have the right to use. For your own store that means your own exports. If you work as a VA, see VA workspaces and client data below.
  • You keep ownership of your content and data. You give Signal Loom a limited permission to process them solely to provide and maintain the service for you.

We may send essential account, security, billing, and service notices. Optional reminders and product emails are controlled separately through Email preferences and are described in the Privacy Policy.

Signal Loom for TPT

Pro and Premium features may use the browser extension Signal Loom for TPT to read the public TPT product pages you choose to review. Use it only with public pages you are entitled to review. Do not use the extension or Signal Loom to access private TPT information, another seller's account, or information that is not intended to be public.

VA workspaces and client data

Some accounts use client workspaces to support TPT sellers as a virtual assistant or agency. This section applies to those accounts and to the sellers who send files through a secure upload link.

If you run a VA workspace, you confirm for each client store that the seller has authorized you to request and process those store exports. You must not request or upload data you are not authorized to handle. You are responsible for that authorization, for what you ask your clients to send, and for answering your clients' questions about the data you hold on their behalf.

Signal Loom processes client data to provide the service to you. We use it only for that purpose. Data stays in the client workspace you place it in, is not used for another Signal Loom account, and is not shared between your own clients.

The Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms when Signal Loom processes client-workspace data for a VA or agency account. It applies before paid VA billing is introduced as well as afterward.

If you are a seller sending files through a secure upload link, these terms apply to that use even though you do not have a Signal Loom account. Sending files does not create an account, a subscription, or any charge to you.

Client data is kept and deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Permanently deleting an archived client is the tool for removing a client's stored files and analysis.

Plans and billing

  • Signal Loom offers Free, Pro, and Premium plans. The features available on each plan are described on the Plans page.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Any paid plan and its price are shown clearly in Stripe Checkout before you confirm payment.
  • Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the interval selected at checkout until cancelled. Yearly subscriptions are charged for the full year in advance. Founding Creator is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription.
  • You may cancel a subscription at any time through Manage billing. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the period already paid for.
  • In addition to rights that cannot legally be limited, yearly Pro and Premium purchases have a 30-day money-back guarantee from the initial purchase date. After any applicable withdrawal or guarantee period, fees already paid are non-refundable.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
  • VA workspace plans are shown as a pricing preview only. They are not yet available for purchase and no VA plan can be bought through Signal Loom today.

Consumer withdrawal and refunds

Signal Loom is designed for TPT sellers using it for their store or professional work. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights apply only where you legally purchase as a consumer; this section does not take away any right that applies to you.

If those rights apply, you may withdraw from the initial online service contract without giving a reason through the end of the 14th day after the contract is concluded. A normal monthly or yearly renewal payment does not by itself begin a new withdrawal period.

Paid access starts after payment. During Signal Loom's launch period, we do not deduct an amount for access used before an eligible withdrawal: we refund an eligible withdrawal in full, end the paid contract, and return the account to Free. Refunds are made through the original payment method within 14 days after we receive a valid notice.

You can give notice through the online withdrawal function, by emailing support@graphene-edu.com, or with the model form below. The online function records the date and time and immediately emails a receipt. If you cannot sign in, email notice is sufficient.

Withdrawal undoes an eligible recent contract. It is different from ordinary subscription cancellation, which stops future renewals but normally leaves paid access in place until the current billing period ends.

Founding Creator and "lifetime" access

  • "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of Signal Loom as a product, not your lifetime and not Teachers Pay Teachers' lifetime. Founding Creator access continues for as long as Signal Loom is actively supported and offered. If Signal Loom is ever discontinued for business, legal, or technical reasons, lifetime access ends when the product does.
  • "Access" means the Signal Loom account and features included in your plan. It is not a guarantee about TPT search placement, sales, or that any specific feature will keep working forever.
  • Signal Loom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with TPT. Some features read public TPT pages you choose to review. TPT may change, restrict, or remove those pages, or the data on them, at any time and without notice to us, and is fully within its rights to do so.
  • If a TPT change breaks or limits a Signal Loom feature, that on its own is not a breach of these terms and does not create an obligation for us to restore or replace that feature, though we will try to adapt where reasonably possible.

AI guidance

Premium Visual Signals uses AI to offer practical ideas about selected listings. AI guidance can be incomplete or mistaken and should be treated as a helpful starting point for your own judgment, not as a definitive assessment or professional advice.

Fair use and availability

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to bypass its limits or security. We may suspend or end access where necessary to protect the service or address a violation. We aim to keep Signal Loom available, but it is provided as-is and may occasionally be unavailable.

Liability and changes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Signal Loom's total liability for a claim arising from use of the service is limited to the fees you paid to Signal Loom in the 12 months before that claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Netherlands law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. We may update these terms with reasonable notice.
